At the opening of Hotel Bohinj<\/a><\/strong>, we said\u00a0\u201cNO!\u201d to single-use plastic slippers. <\/strong>We wanted a solution aligned with our values and with the nature of Triglav National Park, where every step matters.<\/p>\n

That is why we began collaborating with the Slovenian innovative company Kaaita<\/a><\/strong><\/strong>, which produces sustainable slippers for our guests from recycled felt. Each pair is made from six plastic bottles that have been saved from landfill. A step we are very proud of.<\/p>\n

But the story did not stop there. Now we have taken it one step further.<\/p>\n

Introducing Heelies<\/strong>, sustainable heeled slippers made from recycled wool sweaters.
No dyeing. Less waste. Less microplastics. Each pair also uses 50 litres less water<\/strong> during production.<\/p>\n

Heelies are exclusively available at Hotel Bohinj<\/strong> and Vila Muhr.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Winners will be selected by a jury from Kaaita \u00d7 Alpinia Group<\/strong>, with additional prizes for other inspiring entries.<\/p>\n
